Welcome to the Atlantic Salmon Access Point! (ASAP). ASAP is a new and exciting way of accessing excellent Atlantic salmon fishing pools on the Main Southwest Miramichi river, one of North America’s best salmon rivers. Our website allows direct and uncomplicated booking and access to private fishing pools that otherwise would not be available to the general public.
Through the use of our easy booking system, we have created a simple and efficient way to enable private pool owners to “list†their water with us for retail sale on a daily rod basis. Either book one rod at a pool for the day or book them all, the choice is yours. In addition to increasing salmon fishing opportunities to the general public, many of our pool owners donate the majority of the proceeds of sale of their fishing water to the Miramichi Salmon Association or other local conservation organizations to further conservation efforts within the Miramichi watershed. In this case, fishing is conservation…. and you can make a difference in the health of the watershed and the valuable Atlantic salmon that live there.
We hope that you find this system easy to use. Simply browse our available pools, decide which one you want to fish, check for available dates and then book the pool for your desired dates. It’s that easy! Once the transaction has been completed our booking system will automatically e-mail you a conformation ticket and an agreement as to the terms of use and liability. Please feel free to print the useful information we provide on our website such as directions to the pool, the pool map, parking locations, salmon lies, and hazards in the river.
